

Effective June 6, 2011 ERCO Worldwide will implement the following price increases for sodium chlorate effective immediately or as contracts allow:
As the pulp and paper market recovery has continued over the last nine months the demand for sodium chlorate has followed resulting in extremely high industry operating rates. The high operating rates limit our ability to optimize our production and distribution and these additional costs must be passed on to the end user. Input cost pressure in power, raw materials and transportation are also a factor in this price increase.
The above price increases are being implemented in all market segments and are in addition to previously announced price changes.

The current strong market fundamentals in the pulp sector have resulted in a substantial increase in demand for sodium chlorate in the last 6 months. Input cost pressures continue particularly in the areas of electricity and transportation. The above price increases are being implemented in all market segments.
